I cannot believe how long I have left this for. I used to do almost 2 entries a day, and now hardly anything for nearly a year. Lots has happened to me, I kinda fell of the face of the internet. Well, now I'm in Post 16, starting some super fun (or something) a-levels.
My current schedule includes AS Maths, Chemistry, Biology, French, Dance and Critical Thinking. This year is going to be so much hard work for me, more then I've ever done before; which I think is kind of the point. I'm pretty alone really this year as well, that will probably help my concentration. I travel to other schools with no-one else in my friend group 4 times a week and I'm with no-one I know in French and Dance. It's weird how the people who used to be with me in every lesson are the people I never see anymore.
In the first week, I hated Sociology, so in a funny five minute turn, I ran my finger down a list of subjects and chose Dance. WTF mate? Dance isn't something I do. Till now. I started off finding Maths really hard, but now I think if I'm in the right frame of mind it's not that hard. French is honestly not that bad, compared to how hard everyone said it would be. It's one of my favorites. Biology is so boring. It's not so much the content (which is the stuff that if you look at the bits individually you're like WTF, but when seen altogether the penny drops) but the teacher. She has one of those voices that goes to the centre of a headache, and she really likes to use it for a whole lesson.
For Chemistry I toddle off to college for 3 hours on a Tuesday night. The first time I went (last night) I made friends with a boy who could lick his elbow. It was so weird/gross. The teacher seems pretty nice, but he's also a talker (running theme among scientists?). Most people were friendly and I didn't get lost finding room 226 in the Maths and Science block.
Dance really takes it's toll on your muscles, ballet/contemporary mix for 4 hours on a friday non-stop really hurts. Today, the bus driver left me and Dan at Ken Stimpson school, we weren't late or anything, he just left without us. Bitch! We complained to the reception of school who got really snarky with us and said it was our fault. Whatever. We were there at the time he said and he didn't wait for us. I was distracted in Maths today and missed most of what Mr.Aktar was saying. I dunno why, I just wasn't in the mood I guess.
